| Lilly either sleeps 'til I get up or she lays on the end of the bed 'til I get up. She's such a good baby. Some rare mornings, she'll come over and start licking my face trying to get me up but I just put her back under the covers and back to sleep she goes. Sometimes, she'll use the pad she has in the bedroom and other times she makes me get up and come downstairs with her to use her usual pad.

| it does get better with time, i think around 6 months 7 hours was what sophie did. Around 8-9 months old she started to be able to hold 8- hours. Usually we are up around 7:30. I often wake up and look at her, and she looks like she's been waiting forever patiently waiting for me. It is true though, ignoring is hard, but it does work. Also on the weekend, I just try to take her out, feed her, out again and then go back to bed for a few hours if possible. |

| Lucas sleeps in his bed in his pen and he usually wakes up around 7 and whines for me to pick him up into bed. Then once he comes up he snuggles right in until pretty much whenever I want to get up. He just wants snuggles Ignoring definitly works when he wakes up at 5 wanting to come into bed. I just turn over and he goes right back to sleep. I think he knows it's too early

| Whew. I just searched "can't sleep" and found this thread. I am SO glad its not just me. I am totally exhausted. Bella and Skeeter had me up 3 times last night for no apparent reason. The bad thing is I think Skeeter riles Bella up! I have been up since 5am on a Saturday. Killin me! I want to put her back in her crate and make her go back to sleep, but she jumps up and down and barks and cries really loud. Jeremy (boyfriend) gets very annoyed b/c then HE wakes up too and tell me to get her out so she'll stop. I know I know I shouldn't be giving in, but it saves me from a grumpy Jeremy!!! I am going to try to talk to Jeremy and tell him I am going to let her cry and simply give her the "go night night" command and then totally ignore her. I can't take this not sleeping on the weeks. I DO value my sleep oh so much! Skeeter is 2 1/2 yrs old and sleeps in a bed next to Jeremy, not in a crate. So when he wakes up he goes to her crate and harasses her or she hears him. One way or another they both get up and drive me NUTS! I feel so bad complaing about my little ones but gosh I am sleepy....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.....
