Just some ideas because I like them...you will probably know when you know, though! I get my pooch next week and we think we have decided, on a name, but I am asking her to wait on send us the KC papers because until I hold her, I don't think I will know!

Picard (he was the best start trek captain)
Trimix (breathing gas I use for deep diving)
Korben (as in Bruce Willis' character from Fifth Element)

Some of these break your no head turn rule as well...

I have a Zeus and If I got another male I would name him Romeo. Get a picture of him so we could get a clearer idea of what he may look like. Congratulations!

I like Phinneaus and call him Phinn for short. That's what I was going to name Norman, but it didn't fit him quite right.

OMYGOODNESS!!!! You got a new pup?! Good for you!!! When I went and got Bailey, I went looking on the internet at names and came up with two that I liked the best which were Bailey and Banditt (I knew I was getting a boy). What I did was when I went to pick him up, the first thing that I called him (Bailey or Banditt) would be his name. Bailey came out first, so Bailey it was!!!

Our lil boys is Yoda. His lil ears are just like Yoda's and my boys love Star Wars, so it was just a wonderful pick!

My favorite boy name is Caden, I had such a wonderful dog with that name. Other names I like are: Tristan, d'Artagnan(d'Art for short

) and
Rico.

I just heard the most unique name ever and I cracked up laughing when I heard it... I saw the cutest little shih tzu at the local pet supply store and I said oh my he is sooo cute what is his name and she said De O gee. I was like that so cute how did you come up with that she said well her daugther who was 4 said she wanted to name the dog / Dog ya know mommy ( spelling out the letters ) D-o-g, so his name is now DeOgee, I love it.. its so cute!!

My husband and I both love a nice bottle of wine, and since vino mean wine in Italian... we named our little guy Vino!!!

I was in the same boat as you with my first Doberman...it had to be regal sounding, so I chose....Maverick.

The girls at our vet's loved it and always called him Master Maverick

I like Caden and Blake as well. Good Luck

The blanket with the breeder is a great idea. It helps tons!!!

Someone mentioned Niko and I really like that!! I also like "old man" names for dogs. Our Shih Tzu is Leo.
