♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | The smartest dogs ever I didn't realize just how smart these little furbabies were. While watching t.v today Tia was demanding attention so I said "get your squeaky chicken" and she returned with it. I thought right o.k she has only had it since Saturday must be a lucky fluke lol. So intrigued I said "go get your teddy" and off she runs to her toy box and gets that too. Well I lost interest in the movie and was asking her to get various things and bringing them to me I was amazed she knew all the quirky names Ive given her toy.Are all dogs like this or just yorkies?

| your baby is very smart, so is lexi, but i didnt teach her the names of her toys which i should of.. i just say to her, go get your toy and she gets whatever one she wants.. when i say get your bone, she gets her toy.. my fault... but i will say that lexi is smart in other ways.. she can ring the bell when u tell her to, or do many many tricks..

| Sometimes I think Genghis is the smartest dog, other times NOT so smart. I think he is smart at things you wouldn't expect a dog to be smart at, but NOT so smart in doggy related things. Like finding his ball or sniffing stuff. |

| Suzi is a very smart Yorkie. She naturally knew how to do things without having been taught. Fetched toys is one of them. I raised my eyebrows when she brought her toys back to me. Sometimes, i'll tell her to go play with Mouse/consequently, her most favorite toy, she will. Or i'll tell her to go play with so and so and she will. She will hear my brother before I do, or see him first, become all excited spinning in circles, it's so funny, then barking in pure joy. That's when I know my brother is here! She knows before i do many things first! One thing I must add though, Is that it is the poodle who is the smartest breed of dog . Oh well, Yorkies are smart TOO

| We have been trying to teach Tobie how to do this, his favorite toy is a squeaky squirrel we named McSquizzy (if you've seen Open Season 2 then that will make sense. lol.) but he hasn't caught on yet. Although, he has been very smart at learning his commands and using his potty pad. Yorkies are definitely smart little babies
