| So...Yorkie & Saint Benards CAN be friends! So Leah & our Saint Benard, Brie FINALLY meet face to face last night. It went alot better than I thought it would. I've kept them apart because Brie liked to "Chew" on everything and with Leah only being 3 lbs I was terrified that Brie would hurt her. But last night Leah came to visit and with it being so nice outside we let them meet. Leah was very passive at first but they soon become friends. Brie still needs to be kept on a leash, because she just gets too rough when she plays, but all in all it went well. Just wanted to share with you! P.S. I cant get the pictures to upload to this page, but I've got pictures in an Album on my profile if you'd like to see them together! |

| I am so glad I came across your post. I just got Tia Dalma about 1 month ago. She is 3 months old now and 3.5 lbs (she shouldn't get much bigger). I was very worried about how she would get along with our two shih tzus - Jack Sparrow and Lily Rose (named after Johnny Depp's daughter). They are both about 12-15 lbs. Lily doesn't pay too much attention to Tia but Jack will play with Tia for hours. I get concerned about Tia's teeth coming in and biting. Should I stop this "wrestling" type activity between them, or consider it play and be happy about it?? |
