My girl is six years old and she lifts one leg when she pees. It's sort of a half squat, half leg lift. LOL. That's how she's always done it. I also have a friend with a female maltese and she does it too.

My female definately marks. She will pee and then go around and mark where other dogs have gone. Not a drop comes out, but she just tries to cover up their spots. I was told some spayed females have a little too much testosterone. Not sure, but glad I'm not the only one.

funny i have a small male and i thought his sex changed all of a sudden but he only squats to peehe never has lifted his leg, so i guess it works both ways

lol I'm glad to know everyone else's pup's are alittle odd themselves when i seen her do it i was like omg this is not a girlllllllll lol how could the vet can not see this lol but she is im relieved lol but it is funny

For the longest I was convinced that Bree was a boy, I never seen a girl dog lift one leg to pee until I got her.

Yes, My 15yr old son is convinced Suzi is a boy Dog, Glad I am not the only one that has a little yorkie that is going through a gender idenity crisis.

Bria does this in the morning when the grass is wet. I also think its funny!!
