| Heartbreak at vet.... While sitting at the vet today to get Sid his first round of puppy shots-I overheard a lady across the way talking to the receptionist. I was horrified and soooo sad. I saw a lady at the counter-older-I am guessing in her 60's saying that she wasn't sure what the treatment entailed. Then the receptionist stated that treatment for Parvo is expensive 2-300 dollars. Then the older lady just busted out crying. I could not see the animal-they had him in quarantine-so I am not sure what kind of dog or age or anything they were discussing. My name was called and I took my troop back (they all needed their nails trimmed). I was so glum. I decided I would try to help her when I got out. But when I came out she was gone. When I inquired about her as I was leaving-the receptionist stated that the puppy was too far sick to recover-BUT-that they were going to let the owner pay it out to try all that they could. This is why I love my vet. It isn't always all about money. I just was really sad the rest of the day. You could tell by the reaction that the lady probably was only there because she had to be, it had reached that point. But-I wonder if the puppy was vaccinated too? Ugh-thanks for letting me get that out. I am sure I will dream about it tonight !!

| How sad.. that poor lady. I'm glad the vet is willing to let her pay it out.. but I'm hoping they aren't giving her false hope on the puppy. So sad!
