| how much treats Just got my new baby a few days ago, and have these little dog biscuits that i break off pieces for treats. Now i started giving her treats to learn her name and to come to me and when she pottys on the puppy pads and if she does something really good. My wife thinks i'm giving to many treats. But i read to give treats during training and anything good. I don't do constant name traing just out of the blue i'll call her name and if she looks i'll praise her and give treat, or call her name and say come here and she runs to me i'll praise her and give her a treat, just at random times like that and whenever she pottys. So how much treats is to much treats? should i not give her a treat ever time she comes to me when i tell her to come to me? |

| I'm not sure about how much is too much...however you can always mix up the treat with a piece of your babies dog food! I like working with my girls too....and so to keep from giving them too many treats ...alot of times I will just give them pieces of their food...lol They will still perform for their food....like it was a treat....it's so funny!

| Cheerios work great as training treats. You could use her kibble pieces also as training treats.
