| Third Times A Charm! Today I took Harley to a new groomer, the third one that I have tried. The first time I took him, he was just a few months old, so nothing major was done - things were ok, something was just a little off with the groomer, so I decided I would look elsewhere. The second place I went to, they said he was too matted to brush out and that he needed to be shaved (in January), I told them just to do the best they could do without shaving him down as it was still so cold, and they butchered him. He looked good from afar but then I found spots, or should I say chunks, that she had took out! He has a cotton coat I went in today prepared for the worst, that he would need to be shaved. I talked to her and explained that I knew he had some bad spots and that if needed I was prepared to start all over with him since he is just now getting to where he tolerates being brushed. The groomer was so nice, she felt around on him and said that she didn't feel anything she felt was severe enough to need to shaved. When I got there there was one other yorkie there, and by the time I got back there were seven and one on the table in a beautiful full coat, which really made me feel good about my decision! His coat looks wonderful, she evened everything out, about belly line, feet, hygenic, nails trimmed, trimed around face a little, and had a cute royal blue bow in, and including a tip ($11) I only paid $35, which is cheaper than the last two that turned out like crap. I dropped off at 9 and he was finished by 11:30. She even took the time to talk to me about coat care with a cotton coat when we were finished. Sorry this turned out long, I just wanted to share my joy, especially after I have read a couple of bad groomer thread this week! Jeri and Harley |

| I am glad you found a good groomer. I had a bad experience with the first groomer I used but then found a great one with the 2nd one we went to. It helps when you find someone who will trim them the way you want

| that is good news, I am hoping 3rd time is a charm for me, we have been to two different groomers and last one cut Samson and didn't even bother to tell me. They both go on the last Saturday of this month and I hope this one is better than the last two
