| I like when Bella's hair is not TOO Short like a summer cut, and not very long where her body fur drags on the floor. her face fur is clipped around 2 1/2-3 inches. Her body around 4-4 1/2 or 5 inches and her legs around 1-1 1/2 inches. I trim her myself, as with money problems, spending 60 bucks every os often is not in my budget. |

| We're in Texas and walks are a daily thing for our gang. So short hair in the summer is a must. Boo get shaved, with the hair on his head and legs left a little long. Gracie Ruth will be keeping the puppy cut at about an inch long, with a little longer on her head and legs. Her coat is very thin so this length works well for her. Yogi has yet to have his first cut, but we will be going with the puppy cut also. I'm going to try it with an inch length, but his coat is so thick I don't know if that will be short enough. But we can always cut off more if it's needed.

| As much as yorkies look alike, they are all incredibly different. My two are both large, floppy eared babies who at first glance look a lot alike. But their hair and face shape is sooo different that there is no "one cut" that works for both. Ginger is cutest with long hair and a top knot, however allergies keep that from working for her, so I've settled on a westie type cut. The rounded cut of the head really looks cute on her. Bernie has the curliest hair I've ever seen on a yorkie, so it's short hair for him too. But his is cut more like a schnauzer...looks much better on him. Good luck figuring out your babies best style.

| I take mine to the groomer about twice a year, then do upkeep myself in between. It costs about $80 to get them both done professionally...

I really like her hair cut too! Its great that you know how to trim her yourself. Give me a few tips....cause I sure DO NOT have $60 to spend for a hair cut. How often do you have to trim her?
