| new member Hi everyone . I am a proud owner of a yorky puppy born 14 jan 2009. His name is cashew and he is now in vet hospital 24 hrs now. He had diarea and would not eat..We got him at 11 weeks and breeder said to give him some kind of food powder mixed with water and he would not eat so we got him checked by vet who sais to give him purina pediatric can food.We did and he ate about 3 or 4 tbs in 1 day and then no more eating. We waited another 36 hrs trying to get him started right on that food but no sucess. He was playful no throwing up so we took him to hospital with a liquid sample of his pooh. The vet on first visit also gave him his second shots 26 feb.first shots and 31 march 2nd.They said they will observe give him something for parisite and analize pooh and try to get him to eat.en purina in can was his last meal at home and also they said after exam at hosp. that he is very good shape active but still not eating 24 hrs later. will go back this morning for update..ty all for your comments. |

| I'm sorry to hear that Cashew is not feeling well. Even though these dogs tend to be small, they can be determined and strong also. I'll keep you both in my prayers. Please keep us posted as to how he is doing.

| I'm so sorry to hear about your baby being so sick. My Sweet Pea was born on the same day! We will have to have a virtual birthday party for them next year on the 14th.
