| I'm going to call her this morning and I will ask which groomer it was. I'm even considering giving up one of my boy pups to her....we had planned on keeping two but I might can let one go if I know it would be a great home for him.... not sure yet though, or maybe try to help find her a new yorkie in this area and take it to her when we visit in the near future. It's only 8:15 AM here so I am going to wait a little while before I call her.

| That is the most awful thing I've heard today! I couldn't even imagine that happening to a little dog, especially at a groomers. Makes you think twice about bring them to be groomed. Did the groomer or the owner of the big dog do anything or offer her anything? An appology at the least, I hope? That is terrible!

| That groomer needs to offer compensation. I realize that her baby is irreplaceable, but I hope she seeks recourse of some kind. |

| That is a sad story. I always trust that my dogs are gonna be safe at the groomers. They have pens at my groomers and there are never any dogs running free.

I personally would have thrown a major fit on the groomer. They probably would of had to call the police on me. I hope she finds a new baby to love soon. Please keep us posted.

| That is just awful...makes me not want to bring Gidget to a groomer again...my husband is already funny about things like that so after I telll him (We talk about what happened on yorkie talk at din din) I am sure he will not want to leave her anywhere....I mean when I have gone to groomers I see them in their cages but who really knows what goes on you know. My heart goes out to her.....I can imagine how she feels....My mom had a Laso and a cyote(sp) got her My mom was a mess for a while after that......I think the worse part is that you know they didnt go peacefuly...... I hope she finds a new little pal...even though it wont take the pain away it might help some having a new little person to love. |

| Hi, I'm new to YT, and this is my first time posting. I just wanted to say how very sad this happened and I feel for the lady. I've been a groomer for over 7 years and even though I've never owned my own shop, it would have been policy to compensate the lady for her lost. You would think that anybody that owns or runs a business like grooming would do this. A friend of mine opened her first grooming shop and had a dog she was moving run out the front door and down the road where it was hit by a car. I remember her frantic phone call, she felt horrible. She did buy the owners of that dog a new puppy. Its the right thing to do. In my personal experience I don't see why there would have been any excuses to have dogs not belonging to the same owner together. No matter what. |

| This is a very sad story. Before I learned how to groom my own yorkies, I have always stayed with them. I know some will not allow you to.... but when I made the appointments, I stressed I would not leave them. I feel so sorry for this woman...

| This is soooooooooo saaaaaaaaaddddddd!!! I feel for this lady! I have no clue of a breeder other than Charlotte, NC (that is still a good distance)! I hope the best for this lady and I hope that she is going to go after the groomer and/or company with full force! Most do not know that in certain states ex. SC you are not requried to have license! CAN you believe this? This should NEVER happen to anyone! I hope this lady can Let this be a huge lesson learned to people with grooming shops! If I can help in any way, please e-mail or pm me.
