So I went in this evening and visited my precious little girl!! It was so nice to see her and hold her!! It may sound funny but I just missed the smell of her hair! lol She was in complete shock at first when she saw me, her eyes lit up and her ears stood high and then as soon as she was in my arms she started wiggling around like crazy I could barely hold on to her, she was licking my WHOLE face and my hands and everywhere she possibly could. She went crazy like this for at least 5-10 mins and she was shaking! She kept looking up at me and just licking me! I missed her so much and I can tell she has missed me SO MUCH too. Unforunately the vet went out of town already and will not be back for 28 days. I am a bit pissed because I thought he was going in a few weeks and I never got the chance to talk to him and he didn't leave much information except that I can come visit. The one lady thought I could bring her home in a couple days but the other one said he hadn't left instructions and told me that I could come visit any time I wanted too. I guess I will just have to wait and see what he says when he returns but I am going to go visit her at least once or twice a week until he returns.

On a good note though her surgery went well! I can't believe what he did with her nose, I was just amazed at how wonderful it has turned out. She has a WHOLE nose again, I mean it's not exactly how it was but it is so nice, he did a fantastic job and I can't wait to tell him how happy I am with it, it's completely black and she has two nostrils! It was kind of swollen still and I can see some stitches on top I think but it looked so much better, I took some pictures! I took her collar thingy off because I didn't want her to hurt her neck the way she was going nuts with it on and the last pic is when I put it back on before I left. I miss her already so much she kept staring at the door and me and just felt like she was saying " mommy take me home please! "

She looks absolutly beautiful. I can't believe how good her little nose looks. So nice to hear she was that happy to see you. I bet you can't wait to have her home safe and sound. That's great that you can visit her. I bet she is getting much lovin at the vets office. She is so cute. Go Stormy!!! Get better real soon.

I'm so glad that Stormy's nose is better and healing. I hope and pray you get to bring her home. It must be so hard for you to see her and then to have to leave her. Hugs to you!

I don't know how her nose looked before, however, I think it looks really good now! Saying goodbye to Stormy must have been very hard for you after seeing her though

. The vet is taking such good care of her! And the staff where she is ! Wow! Stomrmy missess you, and loves you so much. I am glad you can come and see her! That is what she needs. It must be a great feeling to know that she is recieving the medical that she needed and is doing so well. Yet, still so heartbreaking too. Thanks for keeping us updated on precious Stormy.

Did you sign your rights to Stormy over to the vet? Can't you two work out a payment plan of sorts, so that you can get your Stormy back eventually? Was there more work that the vet will be doing on her? Doesnt she have LP or something along those lines? Sorry to bombard ya with questions.

I'm glad that you got to go and see her. Please keep us updated on her progress.

oh my gosh, thank you for updating us! Stormy looks WONDERFUL! How bittersweet this must be for you. Her nose looks excellent! What a sweet sweet baby she is. I am soooo glad she is doing so well and getting the medical attention she really needed. Kudos to that vet for taking such good care of her and letting you visit all you want and see her. He (and you) are her angels!

What a welcome update on Stormy.
She is looking great and I am so happy things are working out for
her. I know this must be very difficult for you but knowing she
is getting the best possible medical care and attention she can
get, I am sure makes you feel wonderful. That's so great you can
spend time with her. This vet sounds very special.
Keep us updated from time to time.
Stormy is one very special little Yorkie and so deserves a second
chance at life.

I didn't sign her over "legally" to him on paper, he didn't give me anything to sign, which I was under the assumption that I would be signing something as the vet tech had said but when I went in and talk to him he didn't give me anything to sign. I had told him at our meeting when I gave her to him that I would be willing to pay a fee to get her back if he wanted after he is all finished, he didn't say nothing about that he just had said a few times when it's all finished he may just give her back to me. So I am assuming without a fee, but if he wants me to pay I will pay, he knows I can't afford alot so I really don't think he would make me pay something outrageous. Yes she has LP but it isn't that serious. She limped for a couple days when I first brought her home 6 months ago and I keep her jumping limited and walks so she does pretty well, The previous vet didn't rate it but I think it has to be a grade 2 at most, it rarely pops out. I don't know what else he is planning to do with her, when we talked he had said he was going to do other things first and THEN do her nose last, but I know he treated the blood she had in her bum and that problem has cleared up, perhaps he didn't find anything else wrong OR he had an emergency out of town and did her nose first. I have NO CLUE. He didn't leave much info for the staff, I will ask some more questions when I go in this weekend to bring my daughter in to see her. She keeps asking every morning where is she and if we can go and bring her back. She says she misses her baby sister Stormy lol. I am leaving for a week on Monday until the following Tues. So It will be nice to know she is okay while I am away.
