| I don't know if it will work on Nuclear Vomit but Dawn works great on grease and fleas. Maybe it'll work on this. Or perhaps tomato juice, works for skunk smell. Poor you!! I guess this is worse then cleaning it up out of carpet. How's your DD feeling today?

| Lemon juice (diluted) should cut the smell.

YT 1000 Club Member | diluted vinegar would probably do it too. my Grandma used to use that as a cream rinse. it would probably kill the vomit smell but you might want to shampoo again to kill the vinegar smell. |

| I'm sorry, but your post made me laugh...'in the line of fire...' I hope your daughter is feeling better, & did you blow dry Ella after the bath? Drying them completely helps reduce wet doggie smells & other funky smells...If using dish washing detergent, please use only a small amount & over rinse.

Yorkie Yakker | oh & about the carpet... i'll have to post a pic. the hubby decided to just cut the puke out of the carpet so now there's a huge hole right in the middle of the bedroom! i wanted new carpet, but i wanted it picked out & paid for before actually ripping a spot up!

YT 1000 Club Member | lol! this makes me laugh because I've had similar holes but now the whole entire carpet is gone and I'm still living on my plywood waiting for my hardwood. I guess no one can mess up the ply-wood!! |

| Oh I remember the days of little one's projectile vomiting! Poor kid and poor puppy -- but now it's poor you having to clean the smell up. So, here is something I found online for you: STEPS TO GET VOMIT SMELL OUT OF HAIR 1--Wash very thoroughly with shampoo. Scrub hard and leave the shampoo in for a few minutes, then rinse and repeat if the smell is still there. This may be all you have to do. 2--Mix some baking soda in with your shampoo if #1 by itself is not effective. Just pour your normal amount of shampoo into your palm and pour some baking soda in and rub your hands together. The amount of baking soda is not exact, maybe around half the portion of shampoo used. Wash your hair with this mixture, leave it in for a few minutes, and rinse. 3--Make a paste of water and baking soda to put in your hair. Pour a liberal amount of baking soda in a bowl and add water very slowly while mixing the substance until the texture is like a thick paste. Apply this to your hair and put a shower cap over it, then leave it in for at least a few minutes or even overnight. Depending on the extremity of your case, leaving it in longer might be a good idea, but just a few minutes can work too. Rinse the paste out after the desired amount of time, then wash one last time with the shampoo and baking soda mixture from step #2. 4--If you normally use conditioner, go ahead and use it after the process. It might even make your hair smell better. Hopefully your hair no longer reeks of vomit! TIPS --TipsWash your hair as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the harder it is to get the vomit out as it gets very crusty. --If the above procedures do not prove effective for you, you can also try using tomato juice/puree or vinegar. Just put either substance in your hair, leave in for a while, and rinse. --Since the smell of vomit could simply be stuck in your nose, or because your hair may smell in the back where you cannot smell it yourself, ask someone else to smell your hair for you. GOOD LUCK!

| Buddy Wash gets out pee, poop and vomit. You have to lather and rinse twice for the nastiest vomit, but it works! Sammy manages to puke on HERSELF at least once a month. I have no idea how or why she gets it all over herself because Loki doesn't, but sadly I know from experience that Buddy Wash is the way to go For future reference, at least
