I so very sorry to hear this. I am fairly new to YT, but you are one of the members that stuck out to me. Suri and Silvia are so much alike and are both tiny little things, so I have really enjoyed reading your posts and hearing your insight into caring for Suri. I worry about how clumsy Silvia is sometimes, as she will run while looking back and often run into things. I never ever imagine such a horrific thing could happen to her, but when you are so tiny, I guess anything can happen.

I cannot even begin to imagine what you are going through, and no words can express my sympathy to you, but I want you to know that you are a truly special person in my prayers right now. May Suri's wonderful memories by a comfort to you during this time. I pray for time to heal the pain in your heart. I so very sorry for your sorrows.

I am reading this with welled up ters in my eyes...You poor thing. What a total freaky thing to happen. I'm sorry you had to witness that. It's heartbreaking to just hear about it. Hugs to you. Only you will know what feels right. The decision is yours. The tragedy that you've gone through will take you to the decision that fits into your life. Peacefull journey and hugs to you and yours.

I am SO sorry to read about your loss. Some people just don't understand when I try to tell them how fragile these little dogs can be but this just proves that a freak accident can happen in a a second. I'm not an "overprotective mommy" and Tatum is quite the rough and tumble type (at 6 lbs) but I still cringe when someone picks her up and is not paying total attention to her wiggling. I would be devastated also.... my heart goes out to you.

As for the new addition, I personally did get Tatum about 2 weeks after the passing of my 15 year old toy poodle. It really did help heal my heart. But every person is different in how they deal with this grief. Good luck and all the best to you.

Thank you so much to everyone. You are truly making this time a little easier. To see that other people cared for Suri makes us feel really good and to know that others understand what we are going through is amazing.

I went to my breeders house to see if I was truly ready. The babies are only a few weeks old but I knew this would help me decide. Because last time I couldn't even look at puppies. It was amazing to be surrounded by yorkies.:aimeeyork The time flew by and I even took some pictures. It was a tear jerker when I saw Suri's sire and he looked and acted just like Suri. I mean their little muffeled bark was the same, their body structure, everything! No wonder she was a little girl.:rolleyes: Anywho, I guess my boyfriend had been e-mailing my breeder back and forth and was going to buy me two puppies but I beat him to the breeders. :p We got first pick of the litter and I picked our soon to be baby. We are going to go every few weeks to see her, and at the end we may be coming home with two. I know that Suri could never be replaced, but these babies are full sisters to Suri. (My sister owns her grandma), so it helps me to know that. Thank you for everyones support and don't worry I will keep you updated. All of your prayers and thoughts have really helped me get to the end of the day.

First, you now have something joyous to look forward to! :D Second, we know Suri's sibling(s) will have a wonderful home and mommy! :) Do you have any pics of the new baby you could post? Oh, and now you will need to be thinking about names!!! ;). What a miracle that the breeder has a litter of Suri's sisters right now... Yes, I think you're getting a miracle from little Suri. {hugs}

Reading your thread just broke my heart. I am so sorry you lost your precious Suri. It scares me how my two chase each other around the yard so fast. I have been afraid they may run into something too. Now I will be extra cautious.

I am sooo sorry for your lost of your beloved Suri:(. I too lost my precious Scarlet at the end of Dec and got my new little one, Izzy Bee, in March. It helped me with the pain and grief I was feeling.
I have to agree with the others, no new little one can replace our loss, but our hearts are made to love these babies. Through all of the pain, you will have something to look forward to. Please post pictures when you can, I so enjoyed looking at your pictures of Suri, she was just beautiful. I haven't been a member long but your precious Suri stood out to me. My prayers are with you and your family.

I'm so sorry you lost your precious baby girl. A freak accident like that could happen to anyone and I am an overprotective mommy for that reason. I know there was nothing you could have done to prevent that from happening.

I am so happy to hear that you are looking at a sister puppy. I couldn't believe when I saw you were considering getting two...that is what I was going to suggest!
