I am so sorry to hear this sad news about Suri. I know your heart is broken. Everyone deals with loss differently. Give yourself some time to grieve and you will know when the time is right for another baby. You are probably in shock right now, expecially witnessing this tragedy. Oh my gosh, how terrible. I've always loved the pictures of Suri in your avatar. She seemed to be the very essence of a princess yorkie. I am so shocked and sad to hear that she is suddenly gone.

Oh I know your heart must be so heavy with grief. I hope the good Lord wraps his arms around and comforts you during this tragic time. I know Suri has her set of wings and is in Yorkie heaven. :rbyorkie:

OMG....I am absolutely devastated for you!!! I always LOVED to see Suri...and her pics!!! She was ONE Of my favorite yorkie babies...EVER...and I'm in tears for you and your family right now!!!!
She was an ANGEL!!!!!

My sister lost her yorkie and got another within a month...and she said it was the best thing she ever did!! She didn't replace Jagger....but it sure helped to heal her heart.

AND THEN:

This last weekend...my Daughter Jennifer lost Lily Pad..it was tragic...and she's still horribly devastated...Lily had somehow gotten past a barricaded gate to my daughters pool...and fell in, and drowned. She cried for 3 days straight.
And she has such a hole in her heart. She is planning on getting another baby as soon as possible. As a matter of fact I found her a precious little girl that we are putting a down payment on tomorrow!

I know others had to wait awhile in order to get another baby.

However I think that all depends on how you feel .....If you are ready to have another baby you should GO FOR IT!!! And getting a sister or relative of Suri's would be ideal!!!

I am so sorry. This is so tragic, and I think this will be harder to come to terms with than a death by natural causes, but you will come to terms with it.

I lost Millie, and am thinking about getting another, but I feel guilty about it. I know I can give another a good home, and I will love having another about, but I would hate to think of what Millie would think of it. Sounds silly, but thats how I feel. But I think you will know if it feels right if you start looking.

I am sorry for your loss, they leave big, big holes in our hearts don't they? I lost my Boston terrier who I adored and couldn't stop crying and the next day went to LOOK at some Yorkies my stepson's mom was telling me about, and the next thing I knew I had Coco, and it was the best remedy for my broken heart. Bless you and your family.

oh my god- i am so so so sorry. i just loved little Suri- i loved her name and her sweet sweet eyes.

i don\'t think anyone can give you advice on what to do next- it is what feels right in your heart- some people need a dog right away and others need time- both are ok and you need to do what is right for you.
