My hubby is sooo cute, and Tate got a stroller! Ok, my hubby is just downright adorable. And that's all there is to it. LOL. I sent him (again) to pick up more dog food (this time kibble, as I didn't realize that I was running so low) and anyway, I'm waiting for him to come home and I'm in the living room and I look out the window and here comes hubby....walking up the sidewalk pushing a doggie stroller up to the front door, LOL!!! Omg....that's something ya don't see everyday....MY hubby pushing a DOG STROLLER  lol! Too cute! I wasn't expecting this AT ALL. But I have to admit, I was a little curious to know if there was a new doggie inside (Yeah RIGHT!!! My hubby isn't THAT crazy...lol!) - we have ENOUGH babies! Ok - back to all seriousness. I hadn't even mentioned anything about a stroller to him...and there he was coming home with one! He said that he was in there buying her dog food and saw the stroller and thought that it would be perfect for Tator Bug since she had her LP surgery and all. Since we can't walk her TOO much (don't want to OVER do it on her little knees) - he figured that it would be great for when we take Steddy to the park (or wherever) to walk him...this way, Tat can go too but when she has done enough walking, we can put her in the stroller and push her around :D Ok...so HOW SWEET was that!?!? I swear I have the BEST hubby ever!! :D I just love him! He said, "Yeah...I was just thinking of Tator and bought it on a whim....I do these things sometimes " - LOL! Ok, BUT - the thing is....he paid $100 for the stroller (ON SALE) plus tax! And, ummm....it's red  And I want pink, lol. SO...I have been looking around on eBay and found some REALLY nice ones (this one that he bought is just pretty simple and basic - not much to it at all - and it was so expensive!)....but what can I say? Hubby's don't know much about buying DOGGIE STROLLERS lol....it's the thought that counts though :hearts6: So my question is this: I was looking around on eBay and found some really nice ones for half the price, and free shipping...and best of all, they're pink :p but, some of them have 3 wheels and some have 4...and I have no idea which is best? I just want one that pushes easy. I have never owned (or really even looked at much less) any doggie strollers so I don't know much about them at all. To those of you that use them, do you have one with 3 wheels or 4? If you were buying one, which would you prefer? 3 or 4 wheels? Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer help! :D |
This is what I just bought! They have it in all colors! It is supposed to be in tomorrow! BestPet Yellow Pet Dog Cat Stroller w/RainCover 13Y Item# 310092347591 |

Will you please, please, please let me know how you like it when you get it in?? And how it pushes??? Thanks so much girl!!!! :D |
I bought a stroller for Gracie when she had her LP surgery. She so loved going outside when she could not walk, and when she started rehab, it was great to put her in when her walking time was up. What a thoughtful DH you have! |
I sure will! I got the four wheeled one cause, 1. the three wheeled on was more expensive 2. four wheels looks sturdier to me. I will let you as soon as I get! I got to transport the pups and mommy around! |

Thanks again so much and I can't wait to hear how you like the new stroller! :D Here are the 3 that I am trying to decide between :D The first two are the ones that have 3 wheels...they are slightly different from one another, but pretty much the same, for the most part. |

We have the all-terrain petgear stroller..... 3 wheels.....LOVE it! I can tell you that I had one that was purchased via ebay and I NEVER used it. The wheels never cooperated, it was difficult to turn, and the push handle was very low. It was pretty much a DUD. If you are going to use it a lot.... I would definitely want one that pushes well. We got ours from Petsmart....... a bit pricey, but we use the heck outta it! |
I am normally skeptical about ebay things too but I bought a playyard that zips up and such from this same company and it is wonderful!!!!!! |
I don't have experience with dog strollers but I do have experience with human strollers and three wheels are better, IMO. Much smoother to navigate. Sooo sweet of your hubby to get Tate a stroller!!! You have a keeper! :p |
My daughter & I share the Pet Gear stroller w/4 wheels from Petsmart for our babies. Blue, cause she had Cole first. lol Does come in pink!!;) I really like it. Something to consider:thinking:.....one thing I especially like about it is, little window @top so that you can see yr little munchkins while strolling.:D Would hate not to be able to see them. Window @bottom for their viewing....then a larger zip window screen as well. I have also ordered from the ebay company & it was really fast shipping & great product (play yard) thanks to altigger74;)! So.....you can't go wrong. Lots of ideas! Maybe to confuse you more!!:scratchhe:p Have FUN deciding!!:D |
I also meant to add.....it's on Sale! |

We stand by our product 100%. If for any reason, you are not satisfied with the product, simply return the product and we will refund your money. Please see our policy for more details." So THAT makes me feel at least a little better, lol. But of course, there is shipping involved in returning it  If that's the one I even end up going with though...still not sure  I doubt I will be using the stroller *alot*, because my babies absolutely LOVE to walk...I MAINLY want it for Tatum since she just had her surgery. Although I'm sure it will come in handy "here and there" also :) |

I have heard the same thing about the 3 wheeled strollers for babies. In fact I think Jon and Kate mentioned something about this on one of their episodes, LOL! The one he brought home today has 4 wheels and it pushes nice and smooth, and is easy to turn....but I have heard good things about the ones with 3 wheels also. Decisions, decisions! Hmmm...I will wait until altigger74 gets her stoller in and see how she likes it before I do any ordering off eBay :D LOL....she can be my guinea pig! Hah! :p |

Do you know off hand how much it is? |
I don't know about doggy strollers but when I was looking for a human one for my dil, they told me at Babies R Us that the 3 wheeled ones were mainly for jogging. I don't know if they are the same in doggy strollers. I don't mean to confuse you more. |

Online....not sure if price in store, but I would think so?? Also, you can find coupons for Petsmart by googling. I did find one for $10 off $60. Decided to take another look @mine. It has a window @back too that I forgot about. Folds really easily! Padded handlebar! Now, I must admit.......I've order the Pet Gear playpen from Petsmart online. It came very quickly! At the time, I was able to google & find coupon for $$s off AND another one for free shipping!! Loved that!! Now that I've ADMITTED to owning all these things for Bella, YES!!!!! She's SPOILED rotten & I am obsessed with LOVING her!! haha!! AND I KNOW YOU CAN RELATE WITH ALL THE LOV'N AND SPOIL'N LITTLE MISS TATE AND STEDDY GET!!:aimeeyork:2hearts2::aimeeyork |
I've been follow silently Tat's progress and cheering her on... and I've not really had much to say up till now... I've been reading every update though and I'm so glad she is doing SO well. Yay Tat!!! Quote:
The photos of the stroller you posted with this post.... well, it looks VERY similar to Amelia's stroller... http://www.kiwibabyboston.com/images/QuinnyZappPink.jpg Well if it's anything like Amelia's stroller in the way it handles as well as looks then it should be ideal. It moves easily, it's lightweight and steers really well. I can spin mine pretty much on the spot because of the 3wheels and it's much better than my friends 4wheeled ones I've pushed in the past. I know I can't really compare Amelia's stroller to one for a dog but I'm offereing my opinion and advice on 3 wheeled ones. :) You're hubby is absolutely a sweetheart. Tatum is very lucky to have such a great daddy. :) Give Tator Tot a little kiss from us all over here and make sure you take some time out for yourself over the weekend. |
stroller I purchased this stroller off of ebay and was very apprehensive. But, I LOVE it!! it's $45.00 with free shipping. I got the navy blue one. It is well made and they thought of everything. http://thumbs3.ebaystatic.com/pict/2...97118080_1.jpgNew Blue Ultimate 4 In 1 Pet Stroller/Carrier/Car Seat So glad that Tatum is doing well. I've been following your thread. Donna |
Just checking in on little Tatum and wow...what a dear man that hubby of yours is! Hugs to you! |
Just my 2 cents...;) I'd keep the one hubby got--what a thoughtful thing to do! And red might be good in case you ever want to put Steadman in it. |

I'm so glad to hear that little Tatum is doing well. You're such a good mommy and your DH is such a sweetie. :) |
I have the 3-wheeled petzip monogrammed stroller and I love it. It turns and rides so smoothly. But, I'm not sure it comes in pink. I do think a 3-wheel is better if you're going to be on grass, rough pavement, etc. as they just handle better on these surfaces. They're good on smooth pavement, too. Oh, and I like the little window on top, too! |
Brooke, don't forget Overstock.com. They have lots of strollers, and I think shipping is only $3. They might have the one you want. Also, I would get a color that is not girly, so Steadman can retain his studliness while riding in it. And, your sweet-as-can-be hubbie won't feel so silly pushing it around. Just my opinion. Snoopy's Mom thought that maybe you should keep the one he got you. That may be good advice! |
Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry you both have to be going through this You sound like you are a nervous wreck. I probably would be too. Try to remember that somtimes they can pick up on your reactions. I will be praying for YOU and TATUM. She is such a sweet little thing. She'll be back in your arms before you know it. Lots of prayers for the both of you. xoxoxoxoxo |
Just checking in on little Tater Bug! So glad she is eating and doing better. I think you will love having that stroller. You can also put her in it while you are in the house and roll her from room to room with you. We have the Pink Pet Gear 4 wheeler and love it. Give Tater some snuggles from me and my girls!! Have a Blessed Easter! |

Thank you so much for letting me know what kind of stroller you have, and thank you for your review on it! I will *probably* end up going with a 4 wheeled one...I think. lol. Hubby says that he thinks I should get a 4 wheeled one just because it would be more sturdy perhaps? I have no idea!! Thank you so much for checking in on her GF and thank you soooo soooo much for offering your stroller to me! You are such a SWEETHEART! I guess if I can get one for about $48 bucks with free shipping, might as well just go ahead and buy one though! :D Will probably come in handy even for later on down the road I'm sure! It can't hurt to have one ;) Big hugs to you and the MPACK!! |

P.S. - How is Mr. Hot Rod doing today?? I hope well! Is he still using his leg?? Give him hugs and kisses for me! |
