| My yorkie ran into a lake!!! I wish I had a video of this.. So we took my 3 months old baby boy to a park yesterday, and there's a lake with ducks. I had him on his leash and he would just go to the edge of the water and watch the ducks. I know him so well and he is one of those puppies that are very stubborn and brave. Anyhow my bf decided to take off his leash so he can run all he wants and said that he wont go in the water cuz hes a smart dog Well I know him really well and just had the feeling that hes gonna go for a lil swim. The moment he was off his leash he ran towards the lake and jumped in!! My bf went after him with his clothes and shoes on. It was so funny I wish I had video taped it. So yeah Toby learned his lesson, hopefully!! Anyones puppy ever done something like that?? Or is it just me with a Marley

| Yes! We live on a canal, so naturally we have dolphins, manatees, fish ducks, pelicans etc. Keegan gets so cranked that they have the nerve to get close to his property!!! He runs back & forth on the dock like a madman. Well, 3 times he has overshot the end & plunked himself right into the water...so there goes daddy, shoes, clothes etc...right after his boy! |

| Ranger is a swimmin' fool!! I always keep him on a leash but he will swim out as far as the retractable leash will let him. He loves fetching sticks out of the water over and over and over... I think he thinks he is a retriever since he was raised with a lab and a golden Wish you could have gotten pics!

| I'm not sure if Cassi or Ori knows how to swim, but when the weather gets warmer I'm going to try it out in the bath tub first before take them over to my parent's pool during the summer.

| I bet he enjoyed himself tho, at your expense. I always wanted to take Buddy to the water, none close by where we live. Yorkies seem to really like the water and I love seeing pictures of them playing in it. I am sure he would still enjoy it even on a leash. |

♥ Mama's Boy ♥ Donating Member | lol..that is soo funny! We when go to our ranch it has a river on it, well Tobie waits until I get his lifejacket on and Daisy (the lab) carries Tobie in her mouth by the holding the straps of the lifejacket all the way down to the river and they will play and play in it all day long! It is soo cute, I will have to get pictures next time we go when the weather starts to get nice!

| We live on a canal in florida that often has an alligator floating by. Lola ran after a heron that was sunning on our bulkhead and took a swan dive into the water. When she came up she looked around like saying "what did I get into?!?" She started doggie paddling so fast towards my husband who leaned in to get her. Lucky there were no alligators or she would have made a tasty tidbit!! We are a lot more careful now cause I think she would probably do it again!!! |

| Aw all these stories are so funny. Hmmm.. I wonder if Juicy would go for a swim. I doubt it though when she is next to my pool the reflection of her self in the water scares her.
