I didn't see an intruduction area, so I am going to say hello in here. My name is Chris, and my wife and I got a Yorkie about a year and a half ago. I never considered myself a "dog" person. Always preferred cats because they were so independant. Since we have gotten "Buddy" (we also have a cat named "Tiger"...people in this family are really original when it comes to naming pets, eh?), I have turned into a bona fide sissy man in regard to the dog. He has become the heart of this family. My wife and I don't have children together, and have teens, but this precocious little "tough guy" feels like our baby, and I think has added to our marriage bond. I don't think I have to tell any of you what this dog means to me because you already know. Again, I just wanted to say hello. What a nice site you have here. I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully contributing. Thanks.

Your little furbaby Buddy is too precious!! I have to agree that our furbabies are like our children. I'm sure you're going to really enjoy this forum and will certainly learn a lot.

to YT. I know what you mean about him being your baby. My husband and I have been together for 13yrs. I had 3 children from a previous relationship. We tried to have a baby. Ended up with 8 miscarriages. I didn't realise that I have not thought about getting pregnant since I've become a yorkie mama, until I read your post! I think they were an excellent way to heal that pain!
My oldest got married last year and I now have a grandson. I was obsessed with him too...until I got my furbabies! I'm sure my daughter is relieve that mom is not at her house every waking moment!!

Bona fide sissy man? Too funny! My hubby says the same thing, but he doesn't care what others think! He takes our Bailey (donning her pink winter coat) to Quick Trip to get coffee every Sunday. Sissy man or confident man?
