| I use the washable pee pads also. It is a lot cheaper than constantly buying disposal ones.

| sammy lifts his leg so high, and he is only 5 lbs!... we went through all of the above. now, i cut out a cardboard box so that there is just a bottom and a back about 6 inches high. i use the cheaper pee pads (they work better), and clip the pad to the back of the box. sammy now walks onto the box so he can pee on the upright part of the pad.... he used to miss A LOT... but since i tried this, no problems. we did try a litter box, but he wouldn't walk in it. i was thinking of trying the washable ones. now i definitely will! | I bought one of the pee pad holders and Lilly refused to use it, wouldn't even go near it, she was scared to death. It was even all pink and girly. I ended up taking it back. I wish I knew what else I could use, I'm afraid if I try something else, she'll just stop using her pee pad again and be afraid of it. I have the same problem though... I have to mop my floor in that spot ALL THE TIME. I even use the Arm & Hammer pads from Target that are pretty pricey and it's still on the bottom. Not to mention her little dribbles she leaves on the outside of the pad.

| washable washable pads are the way to go. i was having a hard time with cleo pooping on her pads, but ever since i got the washable ones, she almost always uses it. it is in her crate and she will even go and find it to use if i have waited too long to take her outside (she goes outside when i am home). they were the best investment i have made so far for her!

| My Coco Argggg!! Love him to death but he doesn't get the concept that his pee comes out the back end !!! It is just way too much trouble for him to stand on the pad. He has to just barely place his front paws on it then he goes. What the heck???

| I agree, maybe try the potty box with a pad inside. I think when I get my pup I am going to do the litter box training.

| I tried the potty box...didn't work. I even bought a large boot tray. The pad fit in there perfect...didn't work. Also my babies go into my downstairs bathroom and pee on the towel my son leaves outside of the shower. Grrrr. I had less trouble potty training 4 kids. lol
