| Behavioral Issues Now that the weather is getting warmer I have been taking Brandi out for more and longer walks. Well I noticed there are serveral other yorkies all within blocks of where I live. Brandi absolutely goes berserk whenever I tried to pet these other yorkies. She well even go so far as to attack these other dogs. Luckily she is only 5lbs and I can easily pull her off. She will also try to be the alpha dog by standing over top of them and growling. I've only had Brandi since oct of last year so I have not had the chance to see her around other dogs. She hates cold weather so I didn't really take her for long walks. I only took her out to go potty. I will admit I am partly to blame because up until now she pretty much had me all to herself and I gave her all the attention she wanted. As long as I don't try to pet the other yorkies, Brandi is fine but as soon as I try to pet them or show them any kind of attention, she goes crazy I want Brandi to be a well-behaved dog around other dogs. She is fine around people. Any suggestions? |
