I found the cutest little girl on craigslist that needs to be rehomed because of the owner health. When I called, her little boy was crying because he didn't want the little dog to leave, so the lady said she'd call me back. She didn't....so when I got home from work, I decided to call her back. This time I think I woke her up (she's very ill), so I apoligized, and she said she'd call me today. So far, I still haven't heard from her.

Of course it wouldn't be a sure thing anyway since I already have 5.....I'd have to convence DH that a 6 pack would be just right!

I couldn't handle rehoming my babies...It must be hard for her. Apparently her son is taking it hard too. That poor family

Maybe she has to work things out with her son now before letting the dog go.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. I thought about calling her back, but I'm not. She has a very serious illness and that in itself is traumatic for the whole family. If it's meant to be, it will happen.

That's a sad story. If this pup does get rehomed I hope you do get
him. Look at all the siblings he would have. Maybe your hubby won't
notice one more

Depending on what her illness is the boy may feel like he's losing his mom and his dog. Poor kid.

Buy him a 6pk of beer and give it to him with only 5 in it... when he asks where the 6th is, tell him you bought it with only 5 and when he says thats a waste or why would you do that, tell him that you wonder the same thing about Yorkies, offer him the 6th if you can have a 6th yorkie for the 6th beer! LOL

I still haven't heard from her......what do y'all think? Should I call her again this afternoon?? I don't know; don't want to pressure or make a pest of myself.

If you do call back today, I would tell her that this will be the last time you will call, but if she really wants to rehome this little girl that you would really like to have her. Then just leave it up to her. I think that is what I would do.

I would'nt call her anymore. You have called twice and now its her turn. You dont want to seem too pushy. Thats just me. I hope she does call you back because you seem very caring and I wish she could see that...
