| Is it normal for her to gag after eating????? I have a question for all of those with experiance. My moms new puppy Azura seems to gag/belch everytime after she eats. Now she does eat rather fast, but doesnt seem to overeat. Is this something we need to worry about or do you thing she will grow out of it. It is just disturbing to hear her gag/belch after every meal. We just want to make sure she will be ok. Also note she has never actully thrown up, just sounds like she is going to, and it only last a few seconds, no more than 15-20 I would say.

| Sounds like she just eats too fast. How many puppies were in her litter? Maybe she had to eat fast to get some and it is a learned habit. If she's the only one in the house, she'll learn it's ok now, no one's going eat it all up from her. I would keep a close eye out on her tho, you just never know with these little dogs. Sylvia |

| I agree...she should get used to the fact that she will get enough food without having to eat so frantically. It might worth a call into the vet to see if they will answer the question without making you come in. |

| Actully she was one of one. Just a really big piglet when it comes to eating. I will call the vet in the morning and see what they have to say. I do hope she grows out of it. I just feel so bad everytime she does it, but she seems ok for the most part.
