Yes Precious does this also. I read that it's a natural instinct as well & that when dogs were wild they would remove sticks & other bumpy things before bedding down. So now whenever she does it we say go ahead get those nasty sticks out of your bed!!! LOL

Yup! Tobie is the only one of my dogs that does this. He scratches like crazy before he lays down. lol

Yes, Fancy does the same thing to her blankies. It is so cute to watch her get it just perfect!

yep both of mine do this, we bought them both several baby blankets that are scattered around the house for them to do this.

Sasha will do that all the time, sometimes not even with just her bed. If I have a pile of clothes laying on my bed or on the floor, she'll go scratch them around until they're just right for her and then curl up in them. Everything has to be just right before she gets comfy.

Yes my Izzy does the same thing everynite its toooo funny. Every once in awhile I reach over and mess it up and she just gives me a bad look and starts it all over again, I laugh so hard.Its the funest thing. Oh how we love our babies..

Woody, not so much, he just kinda plops down. Maybe a circle or two if he's really wants it to be extra comfy. At bed time, he just plops on my pillow and I almost have to fight him for room for me to sleep!

Bogie on the other hand, when he goes to lay on the back of the couch, he just picks his spot, but at bed time, it's a ritual . . . clean daddy's feet, maybe his calf (if he's not too tired) then make a good soft place to lay down by mommy's feet

It we're lucky, we find him in the morning under the covers between us. It's so cute!

Pff!...I won't tell you the amount of comforters and throw pillows Gucci has damaged doing this. He gets an earful from me all the time about it too. He stops when I ask him to though (of course provided I am around to catch him in the act and salvage my fancy comforter).

Miss Maya does this from time to time, and to the throws on the couch, they have to be arranged just so before her majesty will finally settle down on them.

yes Romeo does this,too! and when i wash his blankets he loves to roll around in them! i can barely get them in his kennel because he is jumping up and down trying to snatch them out of my hands!

Oliver is a bedmaker/digger for sure! He also loves to grab the corner of the towel we keep by the back door to wipe his paws. He gets it in his teeth and goes racing through the house w/ the towel flung behind him trailing over his shoulder. We call him Zorro-Dog !

Sissy does this (Bubba doesn't) She will dig and take the blanket in her mouth and arrange the blanket to her satisfaction, then let out a huge sigh and plop down in the middle and go to sleep
