| exercise pens Good morning everyone. I was wondering if anyone leaves their babies in a exercise pen in the house when not at home? I have been putting my 2 pups in the bathroom, but they are chewing on the wood trim and I am worried the kids won't put the seat down on the toilet. With pups they are unpredictable. Are the pens sturdy and can they get their heads stuck in them? Any input would be appreciated. |

| I guess it would depend on the excercise pen you bought! I have a decendent from Whodini or something, because she always manages to get out. I am going to buy the metal one and get the top for it. It depends on the puppy also. I had the plastic superyard from Petsmart.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | My Harry boy always manage to get out of every x pen we tried, so now I just leave the 3 of them in their crates when I am out, better safe than sorry.. last time I left him in the x pen he got out and unpluged the little tv in the tv room.. NOT a good thing he liked to chew on wires.. now he is 6 and older but still I will not take any chances... hugs, carmen in nj |

| yes i do keep mine in an xpen when i am gone. for their safety and my peace of mind. i worry about what they could get into if they had free reign when i was out (chewing on electrical cords and things like that)
