| Donating YT 500 Club Member | LOL....I've been checking this thread so many times that I'm beginning to feel like a stalker! I just want so badly for this to be a happy ending for someone who is trying to hold on to hope. There needs to be some balance for all these sad outcomes of lost Yorkies we've been worrying about. Wow, Penny's Mum, your story about the pitiful cat being microchipped and reunited with his owner brought chill bumps. I'm hoping this situation will end in a happy reunion, too. I do not doubt the poster's story nor do I doubt the reaction. Any of us would be appalled to see a Yorkie in that condition and would probably think the pet had been neglected or abused, too. However, I believe the poster will rethink and put that initial outrage aside. Instead of worrying what the poster will or will not do, I would rather focus on the kindness and compassion the poster extended to a Yorkie in need. Thank you, OP, for opening your heart, your home...for rescuing a pet in need. Anyone who is that compassionate will do the right thing for this Yorkie. Last edited by TOY; 03-18-2009 at 06:14 PM. I can only hope all missing/lost dogs within and around your neighbouring states find their way to your home, though it'd be one heck of a hike. This way they may all be reunited with their families--assuming the scent of their own home was really that difficult to follow and the doggy angel only knows to guide them to your place. | |

| Maybe the reason why the OP hasn't been back on is because like having a new litter, it can be overwhelming & time consuming. Maybe she is doing as everyone has suggested by looking into missing dogs and such! I'm sure all will turn out well. It never ceases to amaze me how big the hearts of Yorkie lovers are but it is more than apparent in these posts!

| what does 'bumping up' mean? I have seen it referred to before, and I dont understand the phrase... Also, has anyone tried to contact the OP for an update, we could always PM or just call her number, I wasnt sure if that would be too invasive or not. I'd really like to know how this little doggie is doing.
