Well, I questioned this from like the 2nd day after I had re-read. Then someone said I should give her the benefit of the doubt. So, I looked at her profile and thought, okay 61 years old, used to be a school bus driver, maybe she is telling the truth(although i still had my doubts), I was trying to behave myself(which is so not like me:D). So, guess it's okay now to question this woman? 2+2 are not equalling 4 right now |
Hmmm That is wierd. I am curious to find out what happened to the baby! |
i thought it was a bit odd when she didnt want to post a picture..lets hope it was something she just made up and that there was never a lost and lonely yorkie. |
I find it interesting that most think it's a woman and I was under the impression for some reason that it was a man? |
Curiouser and curiouser. When I first read that, I told my son it sounded like a load of crap. I know, I know, but some things just don't sound truthish.:DYes that IS a word. I just made it up!:p |
I just don't understand why someone would make that up and then put their number on the internet if it wasn't true  I am not saying it is true or its not but I just don't understand why someone would do that. |
I'm sure it was real. It probably was a case of her being busy. Maybe she was taking the advise. I can't imagine that she would post her number if it weren't true. I hope that she was able to find the pups home or a good replacement home. |

One more update. I just got off the phone with the OP. (a HE by the way) The lady I spoke with is his mother and has dementia (sp) Anyway, about the dog. The OP has adopted the dog. Now before anyone says anything negative let me say that I am a very good judge of character and the OP is a genuine yorkie lover. He has posted signs, etc trying to find the owner. What he has found out is that in the park that he lives in, there was an elderly lady with a yorkie. About 1 1/2 months ago, she was placed in a home. The dog has been spotted running loose in the area since then. The OP has taken the dog to the vet and also to be groomed and is planning to give her (her named her Molly) a great life with him and his wife. He will be on soon to update as well. Let me be the first to say a big THANK YOU to the OP. This dog (Molly) could not have found a kinder person to adopt her. |
The profile looks ike a woman, but, guess it was a man.? |
O that is such great news!! Thank so you much for updating everyone, glad to hear that the yorkie is fine and has a new home! |

It is a man (Mike) and his wife (Ann) |
Wow, amazing how this worked out. Good for him / her :) |

I for one do not want to loose any true yorkie owners. Hugs to the OP & sweet Molly. |

The reason he hasn't updated til now is because his wife is out of town and he has been caring for Molly, putting up flyers, walking the neighborhood looking for her owner, and getting her medical attention. |
i am glad the story has happy ending..I don't blame OP for not updating fast because i do understand that people have lives beyond YT. :) |

Update on "Bark at my back door" After exhausting every possible avenue ...we have decided to keep "Maggie" and welcome her into our family....after grooming and a lenghtly checkup at the vet's .....she will be ok.....needed a vitamin shot...and treated for worms (eating garbage) ......plus a series of the shots she needed...along with an x-ray of her hind end.....she has a limp...Vet said no visible damage ...looks as if she was attacked by some animal.....according to the scars.....she is a little timmid and jumpy.....but that will go away with care and attention...Eddie is adapting to her very well.....thank you all for keeping us in mind.... Mike Ann Eddie & Maggie:) |
That is so awesome. Glad everything worked out well! |
I am happy to hear he is keeping Molly! Obviously Molly found him for a reason ~ I am sure they will all live happily ever after! |
OOPS... my bad. I thought he said Molly. I love the name Maggie! Mike I can't wait to see pictures of your new baby |

Yaaaaaaay! Maggie must be thrilled. :D |
Whew, very glad to hear this was not a scam and genuinely someone who wanted the best for a lost little dog. Like I said before, I have kept strays, and they ahve turned out to be the best dogs. Like they are grateful for a warm and loving home. I am sorry to have doubted, i didnt want to and I am ashamed to say I let my imagination get away from me. Heres to a happy life with Maggie, Eddie and their human family! |
What the poor baby has gone through before she found you. I am glad she has a safe, warm, loving place to stay. I guess she knew what door to go to and bark. Best wishes!!!! |
