| Cotton coat conditioner I just thought I'd tell what I did to Curly's cottony hair to soften it up. I'm not really into buying stuff in a bottle, I like to make my own products from nature. I tried coconut oil (aka butter) and it worked fantastic! Her hair is really cottony and gets matted easily so after her bath, I rubbed the tiniest dab in my hands and then massaged it through her hair. At first I thought it looked a bit greasy but in a couple hours, she looked like the Breck girl. Just shiny and soft. The only draw back is that she smells good enough to eat! |

| Aw thanks. Now if I could find a brush to use so she will stop screaming her head off when I brush her. I can't believe the fit she throws even when there are no tangles. She growls and bites the brush, squirms all about, all while screaming. I do it gently and try to be careful with any tangles she gets but sheesh! I have one of those smaller brushes with those little tiny pin looking dealies on it. |
