| Help! Pees outside during day/inside in evening Hello! I am new to this forum and need help. Kiley is 2 years old and house training has been difficult. We go on walks four or five times during the day and evening. She will pee during the day outside, during our walks, with no problem. During the evening walks, even if she pees outside, she will continue peeing frequently on the carpet in my family room. I just don't understand. I have had the carpet cleaned many times and soon I will have to remove it. Can anyone suggest what I can do to stop this behavior in the evening? Last edited by dmanburg; 03-15-2009 at 11:59 PM. | Although you may not smell it, Kiley still can smell where she has gone before on your carpet and it draws her back to do it again. You can buy Natures Miracle and pour that all over it or you may have to pull up the carpet, depending on how bad it really is. They also sell those black lights so you can see in the dark, where the pee places are and take care of them. You should probably try to crate train her or xpen her in the kitchen instead of giving her the carpeted rooms until she is trained. Good luck! |
