| They sleep a lot when they are young. Then they're awake and hyper and you'd wish they would take a nap!

| Mine would keep sleeping forever as long as no one is playing with her. She's very much willing to stay up for hours on end if we humans or cat give her a reason to. No matter how cute and peaceful I think it is watching her sleep, I feel real guilty for being a terrible mommy on those days when I know she's gotten more hours of sleep than play/attention. Her show of consideration towards us motivates me to be more considerate of her. She's been like this before she was 1 and now at a month over 1 years old, she's still just as accommodating. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | My MARLEY & LUNA sleep the same time i sleep lol and i sleep alot haha but we do play everyday and they have a training time i teach them stuff like to shake to stand, sit, lay down, and were learning how to roll rightnow my babys are really smart and when i ask them if they wanna go outside they go crazy and run to the door lol they stay outside about 4 hrs a day, not all together2 in morning & 2 afternoon.. My Marley loves to chase birds and flying things haha and barks at people passing by lol if not just taking a lil nap..so total hrs per day they sleep i think around 15-17 hrs

| Yep, same here. Chloe sleeps a lot! But I think she enjoys it...she gets cranky if you keep her up/active for too long. (She turned 3 in March.) For example, we go home to visit my family about once a month and because she's out of her normal routine and there's so much going on in the house, she doesn't get many naps in for that weekend. When we get back home, she is like the DEAD! She will go straight to her bed and sleep for the rest of the day! -C

| It's funny you posted this thread. I was wondering if Georgie sleeps so much because he's bored lol. He is an only fur child now but in thinking about it he has always been a good sleeper. We take a couple walks a day, he eats twice a day, plays with his toys here and there, and gets belly rubs....other than that he sleeps. I always say if I could be any animal it would be Georgie what a life
