| Exercise after surgery On Thursday, my baby got spayed and had a hernia repaired. The vet said that she needs to take it easy for about 10 days. Well, my baby is a jumper, so taking it easy pretty much implies that she has to stay contained. I really don't want to have to keep her contained for almost two weeks, but I can't think of any way for her to not hurt herself while playing. She can't even wear her harness because it goes over the incision spot. So, do any of you have any suggestions on how to let a dog who can't go outside for a walk, or really play get some exercise? |

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | Tia was spayed 2 mths ago and she is also a jumper. My vet said NOT to stop exercising her, just keep her on a leash, so I used her flexi and she was quite content with that. She gave us a few hairy moments jumping off the couch though but they recover from this op so quick its amazing. Good luck let us know how u get on |

| yes, she can walk on lead but it's best to keep her confined when you can't be holding her or have her on lead. Better then to have another hernia that needs repaired. I have noticed a lot of people on here don't do this and have had problems later |
