| I am a big fan of clicker training! You can get the cheap clicker at Petsmart for under $2 if you decide it's something you want to pursue. I have used it on all of my dogs. I was actually first introduced to it in college when one of my psychology classes had us train animals at the zoo!

| We have been learning it in our Puppy Class and having great results. Ginger knows that clicker and really responds. We also do verbal praise along with the click. I plan to keep at it, for sure.

| Senior Yorkie Talker | yes! its kinda fun! i had a clicker before i even got Bentley, it was for my chickens (but thats another story) but i found it one day and taught him to come using the clicker. i dont use it all the time but its nice for when he is in the back yard and i need to get him to come in...he responds to the clicker sound...most people pair the clicker sound with the command and a treat then eventaully take away the clicker but its the sound of the clicker that he comes to and thats just fine with me!

| I learned clicker training through my PetSmart training beginner class with Diva...It really worked for her and I've made sure I kept one around ever since. I have 3 other girls that aren't trained yet and I definitely plan to use the clicker method with them as well. I'm going to try what I learned and see if I'm as good at training as I think I am.. lol

| I use the clicker on my two boys when they are outside and it's time to come in. They were doing great with it, until the other day when they saw a squirrel. I clicked for them to "Come", and they ignored it! Clicked again, and still no response. So as far as my yorkies are concerned, it works great as long as there aren't any major distractions.
