Did you happen to WATCH the YouTube videos I posted? You never even made a comment. Think about it... if nobody is buying their "product" (the pups) than they will have to stop churning out puppy after puppy because the demand is no longer there. It works like supply and demand. It is absolutely terrible. Why would you want to even put money in those evil peoples pockets? You're just helping them continue on with their business. |

I would like to share an experience that my husband and I recently went through. I have been wanting a yorkie pup for a very long time. My husband decided to buy me one for Valentines Day. He bought our precious Buster from a pet store. We were very uneducated on puppy mills, pet stores, etc. He did not act ok from the moment he gave him to me. He was sick. I took him to the vet on Monday and they thought he had low blood sugar. I took off work on Tuesday to take care of him. I force fed him every two hours. He just wasn't getting any better. Wednesday morning I took him back to the vet. He died four hours later. We still don't know what kind of issues he had. My husband and I bonded with that precious puppy and he suffered the whole time we had him because THE PETSTORE NOR THE PUPPY MILL CARED WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS LITTLE ONE!!!! They just wanted their money! PLEASE, take my advise. You can find a good breeder who offers a health guarantee who treats their babies right! Don't give these puppy mills and pet stores another penny! It is then and only then that we can put these puppy mills out of business!! Thank you for taking the time to read this. Michelle RIP our precious little Buster |

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM A PET STORE OR BROKER!!!!!!!!!! And be very careful with some "rescues." I have 2 dogs that are from puppy mills. One came from a pet store 3 years ago (before I knew anything about puppy mills) and the other from a "rescue" that were getting all kinds of puppies from puppy mills and then were claiming to be "rescueing them." The one from the pet store had kennel cough but it cleared up. On both dogs, both will be needing knee surgery on both knees at $2000 per knee. The one from the pet store is the best dog in the world but if you put him in a cage,he becomes very aggressive. My other was h--- trying to cage break him and he only got better after getting a 3rd dog and housing them together. They both dont like cages, pee in the crate. There is a difference between a dog that comes from a puppy mill and a breeder. I will never get another dog that came from a puppy mill. Try to find a breeder in your area (I drove almost 3 hours one way to get my yorkie. My husband said I was nuts.) I know the dogs in the stores are really cute and you just have to have one but its not worth it. There are several websites to find dogs and puppies. I dont know if I can post them so if you want,pm me and I'll send them to you. |
I hope that I can post this. Hall of Shame |
This is why you don't buy from a pet store! Adopt a Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie: Sasha: Petfinder She is AKC registered too! :( |
