yogurt is trained to in his "toilet" box - an old plastic box lid that has a little edge with paper inside he was neutered at 5.5 months, right after he was neutered he started peeing with one leg lifted! aha:eek: i wonder why :) |
Buddy is 2 1/2 years old...he has never marked on anything in the house. He is trained to potty outside. I hope you can get Teddy to stop marking his territory...I am sure this is very frustrating! But he is so darn cute...it's hard to get mad at him!!! :-))) |
Trouble is one year old. He is pee pad trained, and goes when he is let outside also, but has never marked anywhere that I have seen. He was neutered at 12 weeks. He will lift his leg outside to pee on trees but not in the house. |
Barney was neutered before the age of 6 months(was at the breeders req)...He has never "marked"...To be truthful, I don't think he would even know..He does wear a belly band and he does have the occasional accident...But blame that more on me than him....I mean the accidents are by the backdoor...Poor dining room carpet..lol |
Milo was crate trained and he goes outside he was nuetered at 7 months and has never marked in the house only outside. it sounds like you are using a gate to confine him, he probubly has too much room. Dogs need boundries that is why they say when crateing only give them enough room to stand up and turn around most will not pee or poop where they live or eat. Try using a smaller space to confine the dog. Another option I heard of was to cover there entire area with pee pads and slowly like every few days or so remove one of the pads untill you are left with only one pad, this however is a more expensive option. Meeko is pad trained and had never marked inside or outside. He was neutered at 6 months and is 1.5 yrs now. He's never even lifted his leg. |
Tobie doesn't mark in the house but if we are outside he will mark or if we go to someone else house and they have dogs he will mark. He got neutered at the age of 1, I hate that I wait so long to do it, I guess its better late then never though. |
