I would think a mixed breed would cost less, maybe the breeder could give you some money back or at least pay for the test. I also would contact AKC, she might be registering and selling them as purebred and that's not right. Bottom line you love your baby no matter what and it has a good home!

I think she said the pup was given to her. Or, maybe I'm delusional LOL I'll go back and check..

in any case, the breeder shouldn't be registering dogs with the AKC that aren't purebred. I would call the breeder and have a chat with her for sure.

I would definitely report the breeder to AKC and call the breeder yourself and tell her that you know that your baby isn't purebred BUT I'm glad you have each other. She really is a cutie pie, so how about some new pictures?!
