| Still looking We are still on the look out for a Boyfriend for Daisy. We went and looked at some but they are really big boys or boy I should say.He was 10 wks old and weigh about 6 pds.Sooooo adorable but way to big to even play with Her,LOL Then We travel over 2 hours to see some cute males but I wanted them all because they are being keeped outside in a kennel with broken house doors over the kennel to keep them dry from rain,They had fleas bad and they were terrified of Myself and Dh.I wanted to go off on the lady and My dh made Me leave! Here where we live the law says that as long as they have food, water and protection from weather there are no laws being broken.Well,I was heartbroken and I feel as though maybe It just isnt worth the money to get a male when soooo many need good homes.I would have took them all if I could have but I don't have money like that. This is heart breaking to me and I feel as though it ruined the joy of getting a little boy for Me Thanks for letting Me vent Tami

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I totally can understand how you felt - We went thru a similar thing trying to find Cheri - I was so upset after seeing the condition of the yorkie I was shown - and I wrote people about it ...sometimes it doesn't hurt to have someone go take a look to make sure the animals are really being taken care of - FLEAS are not the sign of cared for dogs - If I saw that I'd have been on the phone and emailing the ASPCA for that county - It sounds like they need an inspection and need to be required to treat those poor puppies - You CAN help them !! ...I know the laws are there - but sometimes... if the ASPCA is not overworked in your area - they WILL pay a visit based on a complaint. It only takes a few minutes to report bad conditions and alert the proper athorities to step in and make them give those puppies medical treatment. Good luck finding your new puppy - It will happen and just sometimes takes time - |
