| I had gone into a pet store a couple of years ago with my sister while we were shopping in NJ. I noticed how filthy the water dishes were and went over to management to tell them. He shrugged! I said excuse me but those animals need CLEAN water NOW! He gave me a dirty look and my sister is tugging on my sleeve. I stood firm until he sent a worker to start changing the water at which time a women approched me with a small black dog in her arms near tears. She was buying the pup because the other's dog's were attacking it and no one would seperate them. She said her husband was going to kill her but she didn't care. Someone had to help that pup and the store wouldn't. I no longer go into a pet store with live animals. Just can't do it. They all need to be shut down. I would gladly pickett if I were asked too in my area of the woods. My heart breaks for any animal that is not treated with love. These young workers in these pet stores couldn't care less about the treatment these poor puppy's get. |
