| Sophie/new puppy Hello, I have a new puppy. She is just turning 5 months old. I have questions about her coat. Her head is silky, but I am not sure about the rest. Her parents were both silky. The breeder said it took her dad 2 years to completely break coat. What do you think? Can they have multiple textures? Thanks |

| our babies are the same! They seem to be really soft and silky on top but their bodies seem to be a mix between the silky texture and the cotton texture...... I dont think they have lost all their puppy coat! Cant wait to hear more on this as i would like to know myself!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome. I have one who is all silky coat and very straight everywhere. My 2 cottony coats have silkier hair on their heads but is much thicker than my all silky one.
