| Mobile Groomers/Groomers on the go? Hello everyone!! I'm just looking into groomers that come to your house and I was just curious to know who here uses similar services. I also wanted to know what you all think is a reasonable price and what I should ask the groomer before scheduling an appointment. I've spoken to two, so far, and both seem very nice...but I can't really visualize or know how the groomer is until they actually work on Luna. So any advice for choosing a groomer would be highly appreciated!! Thanks everyone!

| Oh my goodness, I would love to have a "mobile groomer" come to my home and do both Schatzie and Annabelle ... I of course know nothing about them so I am going to sit back and wait for the posts to show up so I can learn about them too. I doubt they'd even come to where we live. (way out in the country) Regarding pricing on non-mobile groomers, I think it depends on the state you live in. For instance, both Schatzie and Annabelle get pretty at the price of $45.00 every six weeks. I've read posts where they are having to pay that much for just one pet. And mobile groomers I have not any idea on costs...But I do know Id pay more if they came to my front door!

| We've used mobile groomers for 4 years for a maltipoo and a miniature poodle. We had three before we found one we really liked, who really loves animals. The first visit she spent 30 minutes loving up & playing with our boys before she took them to her van. Every time since, she'll spend 10-15 minutes with them before taking them out (one at a time). This company only charges $38. per dog, anywhere we took them before this charged $30-$45. *They use your electricity & water. Val |

| Since Luna is young you might want to bath her at home and just let them cut her so it won't be that much for her at first. Petco does what they call a quit cut for $8 dollars. Our Petco has a groomer I realy like and she loves Maddie and Rudy. Maddie has been going for almost 2 years and Rudy since he was a puppy. I still bath them at home and just let her groom then. I know all Petco have different groomer. I just went to some grooming places and saw how they treated they dogs. I went to Petco one day and she was doing a yorkie she has been grooming for 9 years and the owner loved her, so that is how I found her. Good luck and post pic's of Luna after her first grooming...............Cind |

| Mobile Groomers-los Angeles Hi - we are in Los Angeles and switched to using a mobile groomer. we are so happy we did. our yorkie doesnt get traumatized anymore and its so much better than having to leave him at a groomer for hours in a cage - getting anxious all day. They mobile groomers are great. We pay about $65 her in Los Angeles - it could be more. A great company out here is called Hollywood Grooming. Their vans are very clean and you are welcome to go check on them while they are doing your pet. they do cats too. |

| that is what i don;t like...when they put the dogs in the cage, and at petsmart, i even saw them putting WET dogs in the cages...that is cruel!! I am not paying to have somebody do that to Mojo, last time i took him there he was in that cage for 5 hours before they even started on him...and worse yet, you don;t see when they bathe him, i rather pay more and keep an eye on my boy, heard of too many petshop grooming accidents to just not worry. Melissa, if you find a good mobile groomer let me know...i definetly want try that with Mojo also. |

| I guess we are all basically on the same page. I have spoken to only 2 groomers, one which was going to come on tuesday and ended up on the other side of town...and cancelled because he thought we lived by where his route was taking him. I am still waiting for a call back. The other groomer I called, said she was so professional that she couldn't give me an estimate in price over the phone. She says she has to see Luna in person, then from there she will schedule a biweekly, weekly, or monthly grooming appointment. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but I am too waiting for her to call. She told me she'd stop by today after 4:30pm if she had time, guess she didn't. So, I will definately let you all know once I find one I like.
