. . . and family was the best decision we have made with her! I didn't want to sell her puppies to strangers and instead we simply gave them to people we knew who would love and care for them as we do our animals.

The payoff???? Well, two of Bella's babies are back here for the week - Carly and Chase - because their new parents are on vacation - and we're having a blast!!! If you look at their video, you can tell that they're not sitting by the door crying

And the second week of March, we'll get my sister's little girl, Starr, when my sis has to have her surgery. Life is good!

You can't imagine how much I am hoping that during this week-long "sleep over," I'll actually get some sleep!!!! The babies were just trying to get used to their surroundings until about 3:00 a.m. Finally, when I put them in bed between my husband and I, they decided to go to sleep!!! Yoo hoo! He, of course, left for a business trip this morning until Friday. I'm hoping tonight that it will truly be a "sleep over." Not complaining 'cuz they're just so darling! Like bringing home a new baby - or two

this is what i did with lolas last litter. I gave them to my friends and i see them all the time. Pepper lives right next door to me. I hear them playing frizbee right now..

Thank you so much for taking the time to write - and I must agree with you -they are all just darling! You really can't tell their beautiful colors from this video, but I have two albums of just Bella's puppies on this site on my profile if you'd like to take a look at them. There's even a picture of their daddy, who was pretty dark. Yes, they are full-bred Yorkies and about eight months old. I also a few videos on YouTube that I love to show off - even a few short ones of when Bella was actually giving birth. What an experience! I had never helped deliver pups and it was just me and my college-aged daughter, plus all the advice I received from the millions of questions I asked the members of YT! I really don't know what I would do without all the great suggestions and answers that I have received from such giving members. Here's the link to the videos, if you'd like to take a look at them.

Isn't that great??? People kept telling me I was crazy for just giving them away because in the city, they will sell for thousands of dollars. Money was not the point - I wanted Bella to have the birth experience. She was such a great little mommy and we've decided to do it again. I just need to find some more wonderful parents like I did with Bella's first litter. We had the best time last month when we had our first Puppy Reunion. All of Bella's babies and new parents attended. It was great - and, of course, I posted the pictures of that on here too.

Thank you! What a wonderful thing to say. What I am most proud of is my little Bella and the job she did as a mother to these pups. I really didn't want to breed her since I had never helped deliver puppies, especially from such a little dog. But with the reassurance of my vet and my friend who supplied Bella's boyfriend, she made the rest incredibly easy. During her whole delivery, she never moaned, groaned, cried or even breathed heavily. She just popped those little guys out and we hardly had to do a thing. It was just amazing. So amazing that we're going to let her have another litter to give the puppies away to people who will love and care for them the way we love and care for all of our animals.
