| New to YT Hi, my name is Cindy and I am new to YT and also to having a Yorkie. We got Mia just a couple weeks before Christmas- an early present for me- she was 10wks old. She is now 22 wks and has taken over our life for sure. We have two other dogs, a Shi Tzu(Molly) and a poodle/chihuahua mix(Maggie). Our other girls are 7 and 5 yrs old and have been great family members. We were a bit hesitant bring Mia home because she was only 2# and we thought so "fragile". OMGoodness, she is a handful. She runs, jumps plays with us and the other dogs- seems afraid of nothing. We are working through the housebreaking process with some good days- but still a lot of not so good days. I have been reading on here every so often and trying out what some of you have had success with.... and I will keep trying. We live in a cold area and she has weathered the winter- actually is crazy in love with burrowing in the snow... and I do hope when the weather ever decides to warm up the housebreaking with take a turn for the good. I appreciate all your postings of different subjects and it has really helped me a lot. I have never had or been around a Yorkie- so lots to learn. My first shock was when her hair on the top of her head starting coming in gray- freaked me out until I read about the color changes they go through-- I just assumed they stayed black and tan-- so as you can see I have a lot to learn. I will come back often and check on things and give you updates as we reach our milestones

| Thank you everyone for such a warm welcome. Yes that is Mia in the avatar- she was in a stocking at Christmas for this picture. Oh and yes I am close to Cincy so that would be great to met up with some of you. Just let me know when. I can see there is a lot of reading for me to get to here, and I need to learn to post some pics too. I think I may be busy for awhile. Thanks all--Cindy
