Mary, I am so glad you are making plans to go get him. Once you get there and see how he responds to you you will know you did the right thing. Have you made a friend that you could ask to ride along with you for company on the trip? I know you went through a lot of pain these past 5 yrs that he has been gone but I afraid that if you don't get him the pain of "what ifs, did I do that right thing" will continue. Best wishes for a joyful reunion. |
I am amazed that after 5 yrs., you have been contacted and know where Yoshi is!:):):):) What a roller coaster of emotions for sure. Sending many positive thoughts from Canada. |
I'm so glad you have a plan to get Yoshi! He is going to be so excited to see you! Wishing you safe travels on your happy reunion with Yoshi! |
With everything you've been through. It's wonderful that Yoshi is found and will be back with you. It's also very encouraging to see so many people offering not just emotional support but physical support as well. Just goes to show that these 4 legged furries aren't just "dogs" or "pets" to us.. But part of our family and they bring out the best in us. :) I hope to see some FAMILY pictures soon! |
dog This is a total miracle that Yoshi is coming home. Dogs do not forget who really loves them and he will be so happy to see you. All things do work together for our good if we love the Lord and pray. This was meant to be. Yoshi is your dog and you deserve his love and attention. Never look back you are doing the right thing. Yoshi will work out and you will be so happy you have been blessed with him home again Thanks to the Lord for answering prayers and seeing all the hurt in your heart for this precious dog! |
I am so glad everything worked out and you are able to go get him a lot sooner than expected. I am sure it's been a difficult few days trying to process everything and figure out what's best for all involved. I'll pray that everything goes smooth for you!! If the caretakers don't drop Yoshi off at the vets and you feel like they are going to try to pull something, please don't hesitate to get a police escort to go over there with you. I am sure they were nice when they thought you were going to leave Yoshi with them, but who knows how they will be when you come to get him. Please don't let the daughter make you feel guilty about wanting to take your pup back!! If they would have done the RIGHT thing and took Yoshi to a vets back when they found him months ago, they wouldn't have had all that time to get attached to him. I am excited to hear about future adventures of Yoshi!! Thank you, BTW, for posting about Yoshi being lost and then found. I have 2 of my 3 pets microchipped and I've been meaning to microchip my last little one but have been dragging my feet on it. This post has been a good reminder to me of why it's so important to chip these guys. If anyone else hasn't chipped their pets, maybe they will read this and decide to do it!! |
that is so awesome that you are getting Yoshi back |
What a heartwarming story! Please, please post a video of your first meeting. Of course we all want to see it but it'll be something you'll have forever. WAIT A MINUTE........ It just occurred to me, but isn't this the kind of story a news station would want to pick up? How cool would that be?!?!?! |
Mary I am sending prayers for a safe journey for you and your four babies and a happy and successful reunion with Yoshi, and hopefully an smooth integration of Yoshi back into your pack. We all can understand how emotionally overwhelming this whole situation has been. I hope all works out for the best and we know you have Yoshi's best interests at heart. |
dog My prayers for a safe trip and return of precious Yoshi. Oh the love of a dog never goes away and you will be so excited to see your Yorkie. I am so glad you are making this trip and you will have your best friend back home. |
Post picture asap |
Mary, Have been following this miracle story and just wanted to add my support. You are a great Yorkie mommie. Wishing you a safe trip. Focus on Yoshi and your need. You can be grateful to the folks who found him, but he is yours and you are his:D Wishing you a great reunion. Yoshi may need a lot of patience to reintegrate into the pack, but sometimes the pack is just what is needed to rehabilitate. I'm excited for you and can hardly wait to do hear about the reunion. |
I'm hoping for a smooth transition. Yoshi please know how much you're loved, wanted and missed. |
Praying for a safe trip for a happy reunion with Yoshi :) |
1 Attachment(s) My sister just called and told me that she stood in the parking lot for a long time because the mother was having a hard time letting him go. She keep putting out her hand but the lady did not hand him over so she was like let's see if he will come to me and sure enough he did. I told my sister to give the lady $100 since that is all I had to spare especially with his upcoming vet fees and my travel expenses. And the lady was excited when she handed it to her. I asked if he responded to yoshi and she said sometimese. So she took him home to her apartment and she has a maltese that yoshi has meet before. And right when Jubei and Yoshi seen each other they immediately wanted to play with each other. She said Yoshi tail was wagging like crazy. I am happy that he is home where he belongs. Can't wait to get home on Sunday so he can reunite with Mei Ling and Ting Ting. Hope he remembers them since Ting Ting was fairly new to him before he was taken. He is in need of a good grooming. My sister says it looks like yoshi and acts like yoshi. So excited. It's so surreal. |
