Mary, I am overjoyed that your Yoshi has been found alive!! I can imagine that you are overwhelmed with emotion. Since you cannot travel at this time, is there a friend or family member who can help you? It is sweet of you to consider the old lady's feelings, but your feelings and Yoshi's come first. I am so happy that Yoshi is safe! |
WOW just WOW! This got the water works going. What outstanding news. Can you make arrangements for Yoshi until you can get home? |
So sorry. I hope your baby turns up soon. I lost my dog once at a dog park and the panic is awful. I will keep you in my prayers and hope for a speedy return. |
That is amazing that you finally found him! Happy for you! Don't know what I would do without my little Izzy. |
YES Go Get Him!!! OM!!!! Yes, you absolutely must get your precious little one. I agree with you, who would have thought that after this length of time your baby would have been found. What a blessing from above to have this soul brought back to you. I too am soo sorry for the lady who is attached to him but he is yours and you have mourned his loss for years. Call me selfish but I would be in my car and on my way to pick him up without blinking an eye.. Go get him and shower him with love and kisses and don't ever let him out of your sight. Maybe that sounds a bit paranoid but our son was in a car accident when he was 19 and it was a horrible horrible accident. We had not talked to him in three days due to him off camping with his friends. When we got that 3AM call from the emergency room telling us the awful news we were out the door in literally 5 minutes. After that, I was a paranoid mom and had to know where he was every waking momement. It was years of recovery for him so that's why I didn't want him out of my sight. Sorry for going on and on but I want you to know that it's ok to be a little bit over protective. |

I can't believe the emotions you have to be feeling! I'd be in shock and not willing to believe it. After so many times of getting excited over a lead/ or letting yourself hope another lost dog was him, it would be so hard to accept he was found. But its him! Go get him! Can't you do a quick weekend trip to get him? |

Don't you have someone you could ask to go get him? A family member or really good friend, maybe someone you go to church with? I don't know how far away Yoshi is from where you actual home is and I am hoping not to far away. But, surely there is someone who can go get your baby. If I lived near Kansas I would volunteer to go pick that precious little darling up. You absolutely must get him back. I know he has missed you and his family all these years. And to even think about what he has been through :cry:. Well, I can't think about that right now because it's just too much. Please call someone, I know there are kind and charitable people there who would gladly do this for you. Our world has problems but there is still goodness out there. |

Have you tried taking Kioko out on a leash? Maybe she will take you to the other one. Praying for safe return |
Mary this was meant to be...he's your baby, bring him home. If it was not meant to be you would never have found him. Please, do this for him...he deserves a loving home and good life. |

I am currently in Greenville, MS working. I was home end of may to middle of august and from what I gather he was found June 1st. had his chip been scan then I would not be in this hard place right now i would have ran and bought him home and had time to see how he will fit back in. how do I get more time off of work when I was just off for 2.5 months and have only been back for about 3 months. argh i am driving myself crazy here. |

my nieces who loves him dearly has moved to Michigan and they would be the only ones I know would go snatch him up in a heartbeat. Cowley County I think is about 45 mins - 1 hour from where my parents stay in Wichita. I am currently in Greenville, MS working. I really don't have any one who is able to run and pick him up and watch him until i am able to get home. I wish there was someone who can pick him up take him to my vet to get rescanned to confirm it is really him since this is the vet that implanted the chip. When she said she had him scanned by a vet tech when she first found him and no chip was found. Then months later her mom happens to take him to a vet in another city and his chip scanned has me confused. I'm just rambling because i don't know..emotions and thoughts are all ever the place right now. |
