I'm soooooo happy he's been found. Maybe they want to drop him off at the vet to avoid any possible confrontation with you, they don't want to face you in person to answer any questions you might have about his current condition, maybe it's too heartbreaking for them to hand Yoshi over to you so leaving him at the vet is easier....bottom line is you're getting Yoshi back and we are all waiting to hear about your reunion

I would fly to Kansas and get him (if somebody could bring him to the airport) and bring him back to MI for your nieces or even to you in MS if I could get a flight back to MI the same day. If somebody would like to fund the trip... That way you wouldn't have to miss any work.

that is a very kind offer. if for some reason he won't work out I will need to get him to Michigan. I was going to ship him to them if he didn't work out and they are anxiously waiting. But until I try I won't know. They just called me telling me that even my sister is excited that she has already gotten him his own bed. I don't want to break their heart yet by telling them that it may be awhile before he gets up there because I want to try. I am driving home Sunday. Leaving bright and early in the morning if I am not tired after work Saturday I will head out after work. Don't like driving at night but it will get me home faster to Yoshi. I am in tears right now because I am hurt by some of the comments on the other thread. And your offer outweighs the negative. Thank you so much.

ETA: If he comes to MI and needs a vet, he could see mine (again, funding needed). I promise they are good. And if it would make you feel better I would never have to leave his side, even for dental surgery.

flying would be out of the question because i have 4 fur babies with me that will be going with me. i live alone and don't want to leave them behind. so its easier for me to drive. not as fast as flying but with the delays and what not it may be the same amount of time. if it was just me then flying would probably be easier. but i stay in a small town of less that 40,000 people and the nearest big airport is either memphis, tn or jackson, ms. which is 2 or 3 hours way. so enroute time would be the same as driving.
