i want to thank everyone for their support in my time of need...it really does mean a lot...today while browsing thru craiglist i came across this posting in the lost and found and thought i would pass this a long in case others have to go thru this...this is not a bad idea.. Reply to: comm-1030653366@craigslist.org [?] Date: 2009-02-11, 1:14PM CST if you have lost a pet, one of the best idea's and sometimes works is to send a photo of your animal with as much info as you can, to the kansas gas service meter reading department. we are always crawling all over wichita/augusta/andover/park city/ haysville/ rosehill/ goddard/ maize/ derby, going in and out of yards, alleys, dirt roads... you name it. every now and then someone sends a photo with info to our dept. and it gets tacked up on the corkboard so everyone sees it. it may or may not help you with finding the animal, but its better than nothing. When Twinkle went missing I asked the older kids getting off the school buses to keep an eye out for her...they were more than happy to help - especially when I mentioned there was a reward! (don't specify an amount). Just another idea that might be worth trying. I'm continuing to pray for Yoshi's safe return xxx xxx |

Recap/Update Ok since Yoshi has gone missing, I had several phone calls but as many of you have read there was one with the girl that called and left me a vm stating that she had found my beloved Yoshi...and not to call back and that she will call back. But I called back anyways and now she is denying she knows anything. Ok. Then the other night I spoke with a lady that said she may have seen him and tried to get him that same Monday...she said it was about 7:30 am when she was driving on the turnpike and happen to look over and seen a black yorkie in the grass...so she pulled up and tried to get him but he took off like a rabbit. And for me to concentrate my search in the residential area south of the Kelloge exit on the turnpike. Well these last few days I been driving on the turnpike and around the neighborhood. Well I decided I would drive around the "girl" house to see if i can see anything since it has been nice lately. Well today I happen to run into some kids that lives next door to the address that is listed for the cellphone that the girl called me from address. And handed them a flyer. And they ran into the house to give the parents the flyer. Well I drove down the street seen another neighbor. And handing him a flyer. Then turned the corner and seen another neighbor walking her german shepard and handed her a flyer. Then as I pull out of her neighborhood. Guess what I see? The turnpike .. her neighborhood which is 4 miles from my house...is located right there by the turnpike south of Kelloge. Maybe I am reading too much into it. But these are the only lead I have to my Yoshi. I feel that I am so close to finding him yet so far. I am full of emotions and thoughts right now that I am about to explode. I am drained from the constant searching and worrying. My heart breaks with each false hope and disappointment. Could this so called cruel joke these kids play actually be the key to find Yoshi? |

You have done so much already to try to find Yoshi. PLEASE, let us us know if there is anything we can help with. I even tried looking through lost dogs in your city but didn't find any that sound like Yoshi. If following all of the different places you have posted is getting overwhelming maybe we could split it up and some of us here could help you out. I would certainly be more than willing to frequently check any sites you are following. The more eyes the better. Good luck and I pray for Yoshi's safe return. |

i pay my taxes that pays their income but yet they can sit there and make me feel so little. if only i had someone to go knock on that dog casually...because i know if i did...my emotions will get the best of me... |
Don't give up Mary, Yoshi is out there and you will find him. Maybe the other YT member (can't remember the name) who said they would help you look could go knock on the girls door while checking out the neighborhood. |

Mary, I don't know you, you dont know me but here it goes. If that lady wants to help you take her up on it. Two of you could do twice the work, and working in a team is so much better than alone. She will be so happy when you find Yoshi she wont mind the work she put in she will be glad you let her help. If I was closer I would help, we that have had an animal run away remember the sting, and pain. Still praying for you and Yoshi to come home soon. I am so glad you are not giving up. Hang in there. So many of us are praying and rooting for you. |
