| ![]() I have just noticed something on Suzi. A couple of weeks ago she was shaved and now she has these needle black hairs on her face? They are prickly and pronounced. There are about 5-8 of them and seriously they are procupine sharp. Has anyone else seen this in A Yorkie? What should i do, if anything? i have seen Suzi rub the side of her face on the carpet many times , like she is trying to get them off her! She only has them on the side of her face .

| ![]() Are you sure they aren't her whiskers? Groomers may clip them off at the time of grooming, so they may be growing back./ Dogs have them at either side of their nose and near their cheeks xXx |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() It seems Joey spouted his whiskers overnight, and since I was his groomer, I know they were never cut off before; they were really sharp at first too. After a while, I decided to cut them, and it's really easy to do if their face is wet because the whiskers stick out, as they grew in again they never seemed as sharp as they were the first time. I now have one of those flea combs and groom his mustache with this, and most of the whiskers just come out in the comb.
