| Toto is almost 19 months and weighs 4 lb. 0.14 oz. She is still about 1 lb overweight [a little porker!]. She is on a diet and so far has lost about 7 oz. Her little frame is small and she doesn't need to weigh over about 3 lbs. It's not too bad for her now but as she gets older is will be tough on her little heart and knees!

| Dolce was 6 months on Feb 1st and she weighs 4 lbs. She was about 11 oz. when we got her at 8 weeks. Her parents were small so I'm guessing she will stay about what she is now.

| bettyeanne! Toto is over weight? Gosh! does he seem like it to you? That's still pretty tiny! I've been wondering about Snoodles, as she seems heavier to me, but her stomach and hind end still seems small. I guess I should take her and weight her, as it isn't time to see the vet yet. |

| As a new Yorkie owner, please forgive me for the silly question that I am about to ask..........Are Toto and Snoodles Teacup Yorkies? My vet told me that Duke was a miniature Yorkie, and that weighing in at four pounds was a healthy weight for him. My neighbor also has a Yorkie, but Bentley is standard sized, and he weighs just under 7 pounds. Should I put Duke on a diet, or just make sure that he doesn't weigh more than 4 pounds? |

| My baby Tini weighed 2lbs when I got her at 10 weeks old on Oct 30. Since then she has slowly gained weight and has now leveled off at 4 lbs. I don't know if she will get much bigger, but I suspect not. She is so cute. I feel like she has gotten so big since I got her until I see her standing next to other people or things and I realize how small she really is! |

| Dukes's Mom! No Snoodles is not a tea-cup. There is no such thing in the Yorkie world. She was the runt of the litter and the only one left. She is delightful and weighs in at about 3#. Will be having her weighed again, as I think she might have gained a little bit lately. It's winter up here in Montana, and sometimes I can't take her for her walk. Although it has been unseasonably warm lately. At any rate, the AKC standard is 7# or under, but as you can see on this board they come in all sizes. No matter what they weigh, they are delightful companions . Our BABIES! Pat |
