| Reflection??? Was wondering if anyone else's little baby is scared of their reflection? Roxy is undecided what to do when she sees the little pup in the glass door every night, she growls (very cute) and wants to fight the little dog outside but runs as far away from it at the same time lol It's ongoing for a week at this stage and every night the same thing...

| Mine do that too.It is soo funny. One night we had Kayti in the car with us.We had our grandson with us earlier so his carseat was still in my car facing backwards(he is 7 months)Anyways she got in that seat stood up and was barking, and growling at herself in the baby mirror hanging on the back of the back seat(to see the baby while driving). It was so funny.I coaxed her up to me and she kept looking back there like "where did that puppy go I know it is here somewhere!"Too funny. They crack me up.She also doesn't like the puppy on the dishwasher or oven door! |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey's the same way, and he never learns that there is no one out there. I have to turn on the light, and open the door and he goes out barking his head off, and thinks he's chased the intruder away. Mirrors don't interest him, they did as a puppy, but now he seems to know it's him, and he doesn't bother to look.

| Tatum WILL NOT look in a mirror. Even if I hold her up to it! I try to get her to look and she just keeps her head turned no matter which way I point her towards it. My poodle, Dax, would do that too. Weird?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | That's the way Joey is with mirrors, I think some dogs don't like to think that they look like dogs, no matter how cute of a dog they are.

| Bella does the same thing! She tries to bury her head into my chest so she can't look. When she was little she would take little toys to the "mirror puppy" to play. So cute. But when she realize that wasn't going to happen, she stopped looking.

| Pao Pao is afraid of his own reflection too. He doesn't care much about mirrors although he used to sit and stare at a mirror for hours when he was a puppy especially when I put new clothes on him lol. Hubby just bought a black glass shelf from IKEA and he could see his reflection at the bottom shelf when he stretches his neck lol..but he would stretch his neck and look a little bit and then runs off...I once tried to push him closer he freaked out lol.
