| My baby is smaller than I thought! Took Gracie to the vet yesterday for her next round of shots, and turns out that she’s just now 1 lb. 4 oz. at 13 weeks! The breeder told me she was 1 lb 6 oz when I got her, and when I took her to the vet the next day they weighed her at 1.06 which I thought "okay…that is what the breeder had said!" Turns out that is 1 lb and 6/16’s of an ounce! (So, I can't read a scale...shoot me!) I guess I thought that 1.06 was 1 lb. 6 oz., and would go up to 1.15 which would be 1 lb 15 oz and then the next oz. would be 2.0! Does that make sense to anybody but me? So now she’s gained 3 ˝ ounces in the month that I’ve had her and she’s up to 1.4! That means she’ll probably be quite small as an adult, they say to double their 12 week weight and that would mean she’ll only be less than 3 lbs as an adult! |

| My breeder told me that Carter was 3.3# the day I brought him home. When I went to the vet the next day, he was only 2.2# (at 6 months). He went back to the vet at 7 months and was 2.6#. I guess Carter is going to be pretty small!!
