Im new to the site, I just purchased a yorkie named colby and all he seem to do is BARK!!!!Can anyone help me w/ this before I loose my mind.....!!

Some people swear by the "pennies in a can" method. Just shake it every time they bark. You have to be very consistent though.

Just go to UserCp then "Edit Avatar" -- this is where you can upload your animated gif or other picture file. If you don't have one yet, I can help you - just pm me and I will give you my email address to send your pictures to.

Hi, I posted a thread on the sick dog forum and updated in the same thread I started. My question is, should I post a new thread with the update or just post a reply in the original thread. Everyone was so nice with advice and asked for an update so I just wanted to make sure that was the best way. Thanks!

I would update right in the orignial thread -- everyone who posted responses to you will get the new info since they are already subscribed to your thread. I hope your baby is feeling better.

To add friends, you can visit other members pages, and then under their friends it says "Befriend ....." - clicking this will send them an invite, and add them to your list.

For backgrounds, you can get some from myspace, or just search in google for what you are looking for. You can use your own pictures too.

If you click the "forums" link at the top of the page, that will take you to all of the different forums. Choose the one you want and click on it(introductions go under the "general" category) and then hit "New Thread" and you will be able to post a new thread.

Last night I noticed Chilly was trying to go but nothing was coming out. He went a couple of times during the day and I'm sure nothing came out then, but I hadn't noticed the problem yet. When I took him out for the last time, I took a flashlight & found what he did get out, which was a quarter size of messy poo, with a trace of what looked like blood. No other symtoms, didn't eat anything except his dog food...could he just be constipated? I just called the vet, they said to try Canned Pumpkin, or a Kitten Laxative. He only weighs 7 lbs. & had 9 teeth pulled about 6 weeks ago, but that went excellent. Worried...thanks for an help. Sherri

Just wanted to say hello to everyone here! I'm new to the site and am a first time Yorkie owner. I will be picking up my puppy tomorrow morning and can't wait to take her home. We've been working on our home to make it puppy friendly and I've been spending late nights researching about Yorkies and all. I think this forum is a great place to learn and share our Yorkie experiences. This is my first post but definitely not my last as I am sure I'll be asking so many questions very soon. Hello again to everybody!!!
