Those poors people and the animals. I was watching the news while they were broadcasting aobut the hurricane. What a tragedy.

Oh, I'm so glad he/she made it through ok. I wish I could send it some food & treats and a nice place to sleep

Thank you so much for sharing this very touching picture. The feelings are bittersweet. So thankful they are alive yet so saddened by their loss of their surroundings.

MSN.com has an entire slideshow dedicated to pets that have been trapped in Hurricane Katrina. I was looking at it and started to tear up...

those poor people (and animals)

I watched the MSN slideshow - SO SAD! I hate hearing about the animals that are affected by this. I just want to go down there and rescue them all myself.

I am so glad to see the picture of the shelter that admitted pets! It's a shame that they all wouldn't admit pets, especially if they were in carriers.
